The Shocklite entered combat as a rank and file mech specializing in missile weapons. All the clans use this trusty machine to fill out their armies. The mech is small, light, and fast, while still carrying a formidable armament of assorted missile batteries.

Missiles produce a uniquely unpredictable set of recoil forces that can make them difficult to control. Star Factories therefore designed the Shocklite with joint actuators specially tuned to the kind of rhythms created by the industry's standard missile launchers. This gives the mech extra effectiveness when carrying missile weapons.
Shocklites are also useful stepping-stones for junior pilots looking to increase their skills on the battlefield. They are more challenging than some training mecha due to the missile actuator system. However, they are still useable by those with developing neural circuitry without too much trouble.
When you need to shore up an incomplete squadron, or simply bring more firepower to your front lines, the Schocklite is a dependable choice.
Although he has long since graduated to medium and heavy Mechs, Luc LaChance still has a soft spot for the Shocklite, which gave him his first "King of the Mountain" win. Yet he readily admits that a keen eye for opportunity is at least as important as total tonnage. From overconfident opponents to specialist formations, there are half-a-dozen ways LaChance can win a match simply by making the enemy's Mechs irrelevant.
“The Destroyer†is a pilot that enjoys flying under the radar and keeping a low profile. As low as you can as a long time Division One competitor. He claims to be nothing more than a simple Crystal farmer, but underestimate him at your own peril. Claudio is one of the first pilots to attain a level 300 piloting rating. He has also been known to have destroyed over a million tons of enemy mecha in a single day, a feat that is legendary in itself. In Clan Wars competition, Claudio’s fleet of Shocklites can be seen tearing up the opposing scouts and collecting defensive victories. Only the bravest of the elite pilots dare to test his forces.
A notorious Cogwerk smuggler. His fully-loaded Shocklite is still standard-looking enough not to draw attention. His highly trained band knows how to work together to get the most out of this missile mech.
As a member of the House of Strategoi, Janus Agricolus was always endeared by the practicality of the Shocklite, even piloting one in the Parade of the Ides of Mars, despite its understated construction.
Bring the heat with the Double Mordem. The Cogwerk "engineers" who designed it forgot the targeting system! Just point and shoot.
Begin your arsenal with a standard issue missile launcher with some bite. The efficient, five-bay shoulder unit is favored by commanders with lighter Mecha.
