Aquarius

Not content to simply shake up the upper most echelons of the mecha universe, new up-and-coming mega-corporation Zodiac Amalgamated Industries has taken steps to secure the ever popular huge mecha market.

While the gigantic 110 & 115 tonnage mecha can easily dominate talks of raw firepower and destructive potential, their size and difficulty in properly piloting make them far less numerous than somewhat smaller models. In order to secure it’s spot in the fiercely competitive mid-upper range, Z.A.Industries has released its latest mecha; the Aquarius.

The Aquarius is a lean fighting machine, with an impressively focused array of abilities. The Aquarius is an offensively focused machine boosting a truly impressive ability to empower shots far beyond their usual damaging capacities. In certain, nerdier piloting circles, the Aquarius is referred to as the “d12” given that it has a roughly 1/12 shot of empowering any given attack to such an extreme it results in immediate and complete termination of its target. Even when such critical damage isn’t delivered, pilots of the Aquarius will notice almost every other shot being empowered in some way. Additionally new advances in ammo storage and enhancement makes the Aquarius pair particularly well with weapons using physical ammo, like projectiles or missiles, compared to the more energy based weaponry of laser and temperature.

While the Aquarius is best suited for projectile and missile based weaponry, it performs admirably with all weapon types. Boasting a healthy amount of precision on dodge, the Aquarius is as skilled at landing shots on opponents as it is at evading enemy counter attacks. Regardless of individual preferences, most pilots will find the Aquarius to be a powerful addition to the 80 tonnage line up that promises to shake up the battlefield in unpredictable ways

  As of today a new legend is being told: Capy K has become renowned as a legendary pilot of the 80 ton Aquarius Class Mecha. K is an up and coming warrior of the mecha galaxy, having given himself a gold metal introduction 3402 when he entered his first clan war and earning himself his first gold medal. K has in particular distinguished himself by becoming renown in the newly developed Aquarius. A newly crafted mecha from a mysterious new mecha provider, the newly designed Aquarius help keep opponents on their toes, as none are sure what a newly designed mecha in the hands of a hotshot new pilot can really do. In the hands of a pilot like K, the Aquarius ability to deliver precise, devastating blows is at a maximum, and ensures victory for K and his clanmates. This firepower enhancement combined with the speed and dodging inherent to the Aquarius ensures K will make it back to the Cantina to share tales from the battlefield; a quality most mecha pilots mark as "somewhat" to "very" important when it comes to choosing a flagship mecha. Currently K has found a home with the Starship Troopers, where he intends to watch his collection of gold and silver medals grow. There he has found a home amongst fellow skilled pilots, who also seek to gain glory and victory in the mecha universe. With an official goal of exterminating all evil, and a battle cries of "Come on you apes, you wanna live forever!" the clan is clear that glory mixed with righteousness is what they bring to the fold. There K and his fellow pilots grow their skills and watch each others backs in fights against other clans as well as the galactic terrors that haunt the mecha galaxy. Against such horrors K keeps his goals clear and organized: Keep his aim true and his hand fast. Regardless of which opponents will show themselves to K, one thing is certain the legend that surrounds K will continue to grow throughout the mecha galaxy.
