None now live who know the origins of this terrifying front-line mech. Nevertheless, manufacturers continue to produce copies of this medium-weight monster. As the Keradon design was slowly adopted into elite units throughout the galaxy, the details of its poly-pedal design influenced the design of new mecha.

In practice, the Keradon is deployed on the front lines to rout enemy forces with its trample ability, which spreads damage all the way to the back of the enemy lines. Most factory models accentuate this functionality with a standard loadout of assorted weapon types, giving the Keradon a true berserker reputation. Unlike its cousin the Orcus, Its four-legged design is utlized as a sturdy platform for a large armament of 6 weapons, rather than as an instrument of speed. To make up for this competition, manufacturers sweeten the deal by including a number of premium weapons in the base arsenal.
Due to the neural connection with the mech's mobility system, many pilots have a hard time getting adjusted to the four-legged chassis. In some cases, it takes pilots years of practice just to put one foot in front of the other. For this reason, shogunate pilots take particular pride in piloting the Keradon. Some of the most decisive battles of the Meiji reformation were fought in these monster-mechs.
For commanders with talented pilots and a need to do damage across the lines, this mech has a strong record of valuable service. It emphasizes armament over speed, and does not specialize in any single weapon type.
Fj Bros first grew to prominence through his innovative use of fork weapons on Keradons, allowing him to deliver barrages of missiles at abnormally high speeds. Few know that “Fj Bros†is not a name but an acronym, standing for “Facility: Jovian, Biomechanical and Rapid Observation Simulacraâ€, a reference to his home world of Jupiter. Those who meet him are taken aback by his odd speech and behavior patterns, leading many to be skeptical about whether he is fully human.
There are many dangerous creatures roaming the galaxy but none more vicious or feared than the Mother of Bunnies and her Keradon. Christine Mainer can be seen in every Clan War and quite often running a 40 Ton Max formation with a vanguard of Keradons leading the way. From her very first foray into Division One competition, as lowest pilot in her clan, she still came away with several defensive wins much to the shock and dismay of some of the elite pilots that roam the highest brackets of competition. Now the hunted has become the hunter. Running with a half-dozen units won from various Clan Wars Killer Kitty and the Krew field a variety of weapons loadouts with equipment designed to take advantage of their particular flavor of destruction and of course, the best shields Niodes can buy. Using this varied offensive approach the Mother of Bunnies continues to stalk the unwary from King of the Mountain to Clan Wars and every event in between.
Artemis Molly once rode atop a Keradon barebacked. Without a neural connection, it's unclear how she accomplished this... Some claim she did it by hacking the real pilot's brain!
As legend has it, Emi Yamaguchi was one of the first people in the galaxy to successfully complete a standard obstacle course in a poly-pedal mech. She later piloted a Keradon in the Eiji-doza games.
The powerful Takahashi clan quickly adopted the Keradon as its family right of passage. Tetsuo learned and taught techniques for simultaneously running and firing the Keradon's weapon batteries.
Swears service to the Helbrandt family. She selected her Keradon as a compliment to her mistress' Orcus. Milly proved the Keradon's strength at the Cogwerk raid on the Shogunate's Kyuton Mech Gantry, where she used her mech's overwhelming armament to defend Eris Helbrandt's damaged mech against massive force during the retreat.
Two armor piercing rounds open your opponent's armor, followed by second burst to finish them off.
The Mean Green Beam (M.G.B.) will help you carve through groups of mecha with no fear and no hesitation.
The Cluster Rack series missiles deploy a secondary set of charges that damages adjacent targets.
