The Skriag mech is the genetic twin of the Gigus mech. It too, was found in a remote location, in vast underwater Forerunner facilities. However, unknown to those that found it, the Skriag mech had made its way into galactic history before.
It was a battle on the seaboard of Virumeh, a popular trade harbor in the far reaches of the Galaxy those days. Virumeh was also home to one of the hidden underwater facilities--the raiders that discovered it had no care of security systems or lockdown protocols, though. They had disturbed the Skriag. There are no tales to describe what really happened at Virumeh--just the deranged tales of fishermen and smugglers gone mad.

The Hegemony, in its early days, had an outpost stationed there. They deployed early prototype Red Ant mechs to attempt to subdue the monster, but the beast's weaponry was unique. Vibrational frequencies from its ultrasonic weaponry wreaked havoc on all of the organic populace. Hallucinations, ruptured eardrums, and severe cardiac arrhythmia eventually killed off most of is inhabitants.
The Skriag was identified again a century later and taken in for testing.
Its bladed armaments are capable of using the same unique vibrational frequencies that the Skriag uses in other parts of its physiology. When striking, the vibrations can pass through molecules--making it capable of cleaving almost anything in twain.
It can almost control this diffusion at will, which, in theory, could make the mech body "ghost" its way through anything in its path. The atomic structure of the Skriag is unique--always unstable, and constantly evolving.
The pilot is passed along into the "cockpit" much in the same manner as the Gigus. However, instead of relying heavily on adrenal response, pilots report being placed into the transcendent experience of seeing all matter as it rearranges itself. Clinical trials actually reported that pilots with an advanced knowledge of physics or chemistry showed the best mental control in piloting Skriag. In this sense, it is the twin and polar opposite to its aggressive brother.
Chief Rocket Scientist of ZEON, he is a master of rapid strike attacks in his highly tuned Skraig, the "Lady Anne IV". Her gleaming paint job is a testament to how few opponents have time to fire before being reduced to a pile of scrap as she charges past.
Currently a high level member of the AFF, and with the aid of the Skriag mecha, became the first to be double bumped into Division 1 KoTM from Division 3, by trampling over his opponents. The Skriag today is still a major asset, and you will find him piloting to victory, in faction and clan wars, sweeping his opponents off the battlefield.
Donald Anthony Alligood has a lengthy history with his Skriag mecha. If you strike up a conversation with Donald at a bar, he can wax about the virtues of the Skriag for several pints, from their ability to slow and trample foes, to their versatility with any weapon type, and their habit of punching through enemy lines with extra-damaging strikes. His coat of arms has long borne the two-bladed beast, and rumors say he’s even worshipped at the Temple of the Skriag on Vupa 6. One of Donald’s finest hours was during Clan War XVIII, when his clan lured the heavily-favored 1st Kearney Highlanders into a ravine, only to engage them in a crossfire. While they were distracted, Donald’s Skriag formation burst through their lines, inflicting heavy casualties and forcing them to regroup, earning his clan the gold medal.
Utilizing the Skriag mecha to devastating effect, Steve has cut a path of destruction across the galaxy in both Wars and KOTM tournaments. He has many under his command in his line up and utterly destroys the competition with their bladed arms, phase ability, and integrated Ursa Strike weaponry. He is a force to be reckoned with, who only gets stronger with time.
Kristopher Fleet-- A ranking officer in The Brotherhood, you will often find him fighting his way up through the ranks in the arena. His deadly point mech has served him well, blades slicing through the galaxy. He's been seen trampling down many opponents in his Skraig.
A dedicated reload engine has the next round in the chamber milliseconds after the first is fired. As if one shot wasn't powerful enough!
The Diablis is a work of art. The Shogunate adore it for its strategic value on the battlefield, where its impressive burn ratio can torch the competition.
Once the Galaxy Eye has an enemy in sight, it's too late. The advanced particle beam ionizes and vaporizes.
